Workflow Approval Email Notifications keep you informed about the status of custom workflows directly in your inbox. These notifications help both admins and Workflow Builders stay aligned during the approval process, reducing delays and improving visibility.
With Workflow Approval Email Notifications, you can:
- Get notified when a workflow is submitted for approval
- Know immediately when a workflow is approved or rejected
- Accelerate review cycles and improve workflow adoption
Prerequisites:
- Admin access to enable notifications at the workspace level
- Access to Workflow Builder (for creating or reviewing workflows)

How to Use
Step 1: Enable Notifications (Admin Only)
- Go to Settings
- Navigate to Notifications
- Enable Workflow Approval Email Notifications
Notifications are opt-in and disabled by default.

Step 2: Submit or Review Workflows
- Workflow Builders submit workflows for approval through Workflow Builder
- Admins review submitted workflows in Harvey
Once a workflow enters the approval process, notifications are triggered automatically.
Step 3: Receive and Act on Notifications
- Admins receive emails when a new workflow requires approval
- Workflow Builders receive emails when:
- A workflow is approved and ready to share
- A workflow is rejected
