Lovdata Knowledge Source brings authoritative Norwegian legal content directly into Harvey. As a trusted publisher of current laws and regulations in Norway, Lovdata expands Harvey's coverage of Norwegian legal materials and is available as a knowledge source with admin controls.
Why It Matters
You can now ask legal questions, draft documents, and analyze case details with responses grounded in up-to-date statutory and regulatory content from Lovdata. This will reduce the need to search across multiple systems or manually upload materials, enabling more efficient and reliable workflows.
How to Use
Refer to Regional Knowledge Sources Overview for the general steps to add a knowledge source to your query. When enabled, this source appears as “Lovdata” in the list of available sources to add.
FAQs
Q: What content from Lovdata is available?
The integration will include current consolidated Acts (Gjeldende konsoliderte lover) and current consolidated central regulations (Gjeldende konsoliderte sentrale forskrifter). Court decisions and preparatory works are not included in this release.
Q: How do admins manage access to Lovdata?
Lovdata will be enabled by default, and admins can toggle it on or off in Settings > Knowledge at any time.
Q: Does Lovdata access cost extra or require licenses?
No, access is included for Harvey users and available by default.
