What’s New

Assistant and Vault now support upload and analysis of a broader set of web, data, and programming file types. This expansion makes it easier to work directly with technical documentation, source code, and structured data inside Harvey.

Expanded File Formats

You can now upload and analyze the following file types in both Assistant and Vault:

  • HTML, MD (Markdown), C, CPP (C++), CSS, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSON, XML, PHP, Python, Python Script, Ruby, TeX

Why It Matters

Teams often rely on technical documentation, web exports, source code, and structured data as key inputs. With expanded file format support, you can bring these materials directly into Harvey and analyze them in their native form—reducing prep work while supporting faster, more accurate review across teams.

How to Use

Expanded file formats does not change how files are uploaded to Assistant or Vault, you can upload these file types the same as any other supported document.

Notes and Limitations

  • Support is currently limited to the file formats listed above. Audio, video, and some other file types aren’t supported yet. Additional formats are planned for later in Q1.
  • Maximum file size limits of 100MB still apply.
